good fit and price but can't take the heat

Great price, snapped in place like it did at the factory but literally melted and deformed (sagged) off the rear window in the North Carolina summer sun. I put it back in place/pinched it - let's see if it keeps its shape.

Product did not last long

The product fitted well and was easy to install. However, after about a year in my car, the rubber cover that adheres to the rear window warped and no longer fits the window snugly, allowing a lot of light from the third brake light into the cabin.

Once removed, installing a new light assembly is easy.

Installed this product today. My original brake light stopped working after 17 years. The main difficulty in installing this part was the plastic latches that attach this part to the rear window. Once removed, installing a new light assembly is easy.

Plastic deformed by summer heat

After about 6 months, the rubber edge no longer touched the glass, which meant that it was not visible in the rear window when braking at night. The entire window turns bright red from light entering around the rubber. The plastic is badly deformed. I tried to reshape it with clamps and a hair dryer but the rubber edge remains deformed. If you need to replace this part, use genuine BMW, not junk from China.

Easy installation. Good quality, non-OEM BMW parts

The third brake light on my 2002 Beemer died after 16 years. Rest in peace. The package arrived on time. Get on the back seat of the car, carefully peel off the vinyl cover, pull out the clips on both ends of the old light block, unplug the cable, replace the new block (connect the cable, place the Block between two pieces of metal) and insert two clips from both ends. Checked that the light was working and then put the vinyl cover back on. Make sure the clips (2 round clips and 2 smaller…
