Basically I bought it because of the picture. I have a big one for my pig. My 17 pound Chiweenie grew to be medium height. My 9 lb rat terrier/chihuahua got a little one. The sizes were perfect for everyone except my 9 lbs. Small is really small. I stretched it to make it work in the picture. Medium suited him better. We live in Seattle and the weather is pretty mild. They certainly didn't like wearing them. I am sure they will get used to it. Small really should be XS, and between small and medium there should be a size that would be a real small. The medium didn't stop looking at Chivini's eyes. They are adorable and well made.
