Review on ๐Ÿ“ธ Godox AD-B2 Dual Power Twin Head Bowens Mount for Combined Godox AD200/AD200 Pro Pocket Flash and Flashpoint eVOLV 200 TTL Modular Strobe Light โ€“ 400W Power Output by Jackie Sturgeon

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Inexpensive tilt/lock knob on the AD-B2.

I have 4 AD200, as well as two of them (AD-B2) and two S-Type brackets. I am very happy with the performance and build quality of everything so far. However, I do have a comment on AD-B2. The L-handle used to adjust forward and backward tilt on the AD-B2 is a fixed-position handle, unlike the handle that comes with the S-Type mount. In other words, with an S-Type mount, you can pull the handle out and adjust where in the 360 degree arc you want the handle to point when fully tightened. This is not possible with the AD-B2 pull handle. This is an unfortunate cost-cutting move by Godox'x, as I often find the grip bumping into light modifiers. Then you need to remove the modifier and tighten the tilt of the light, and then replace the modifier.

Pros
  • Doping ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for older people
