Poor quality for lighting and studio

Didn't last that long. It's just that one flash fits but for some reason the other doesn't. This item is very delicate. I'm not really happy with the build quality of Godox, I even had to replace the H600B I bought which took 1 year. Godox products might be cheaper initially, but they cost $$$$ in the long run because you have to buy them again. Always carry all Godox products separately in boxes, otherwise they will be broken. :(

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Long wait

Now I have a real modeling light for my AD200!

Eliminates the main disadvantage of the AD200 - the lack of a useful modeling light. While you don't need it for compositing, it's bright enough to keep the pupils of my headshots small and show more of the iris. The instructions could have been better - they don't exist! For example, I had to figure out how to install a single strobe on my own. Although a little sophistry. After trying one, I ordered a second.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • boring packaging

Great mount for AD200.

This is a great mount for the Godox AD200 if you use a bare lamp a lot. Of course, this only works with a bare lightbulb. But it also allows you to double the AD200 with the same stand and light shaper. Surprisingly, he uses a Bowens mount for light modifiers. This is as close as possible to the universal light shaping mount. Hence there are so many modifiers to use with it. It is nice that the adapter works with one AD200 as well as with two AD200. So there is a lot of flexibility.

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Expensive

Inexpensive tilt/lock knob on the AD-B2.

I have 4 AD200, as well as two of them (AD-B2) and two S-Type brackets. I am very happy with the performance and build quality of everything so far. However, I do have a comment on AD-B2. The L-handle used to adjust forward and backward tilt on the AD-B2 is a fixed-position handle, unlike the handle that comes with the S-Type mount. In other words, with an S-Type mount, you can pull the handle out and adjust where in the 360 degree arc you want the handle to point when fully tightened. This isโ€ฆ

  • Doubtful purchase for older people

2 of 2 devices are defective so far.

I ordered this item and received a defective unit. Like other reviewers, the "1" slot bulb would not light up and I ran some tests swapping bulbs and power supplies (I have two ad200's) to see if the problem was with the AD-B2. No problem, I sent it back and they sent me a replacement quickly. Upon opening the new device, I immediately tried to light the lightbulb in slot "1" and again it didn't work. An identical defective device was sent to me. I don't know if Godox made a large batch ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • too blunt

Partially working - Monoblocks

In the beginning it worked fine, after several uses, in daylight photoshoots it started to fail, the problem is that when it starts to fail only one of the flashes/bulbs works ie need to switch their positions (bulbs and AD200) to get both bulbs working again. I know AD200 has heat protection but when you use this adb2 adapter it fires too soon, not even after 10 minutes of use or 20 flashes. and it starts to fail, i don't see any warning on the ad200 screen, i have read the manual for theโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Glitter
Cons
  • There are problems
