Eliminates glare well

I bought this screen cover for my 2018 15" Macbook Pro primarily to reduce screen glare, not so much for privacy. I use my Mac in my home office (where privacy isn't important problem), but I have a large window right behind my desk that is a lot of glare to my beautiful glossy MB screen. It's really hard to see what's happening on my screen during the day. does a pretty solid job of having both reduces glare (when you face the matte finish outwards) as well as privacy to keep prying eyes from picking up bank login information. It adheres well to the screen and still allows the lid to close, albeit with a small gap is inserted and the ability of the MBP magnets to keep the lid closed is slightly reduced. But that's ke in problem if it's on your desk or in your sleeve. The magnetic adhesion is amazing and makes attaching and detaching a breeze. I love that I can just take it off whenever I want and it comes with a neat protective case. Since I mainly use for glare reduction, I mostly use the matte side. (The glossy side actually increases glare.) But users who primarily need a privacy cover and want their screen to look glossy will appreciate the glossy side. There's a noticeable decrease in screen brightness when using the MP15, but it's worth reducing the glare and the screen is still reasonably bright. In fact, the glare reduction means I don't need a screen that bright, so it's mine I think it's child's play. The lid closes very well when the screen is in place and strikes a good balance of reducing glare without dimming the screen so much that it's difficult to see. Rice. 1: Shield without MP15 (much glare) 2: Shield with MP15, matte side (greatly reduced glare) 3: Shield with MP15, glossy side (increased glare compared to MBP-only screen) 4: White background on screen without MP15 (high glare) Fig. 5: White background on screen with MP15, glossy side ((increased glare compared to open MBP screen) Fig. 6: White background on screen with MP15, matte side (reduced glare) right half with matte MP15 Fig. 8: Black background on screen without MP15 (strong glare, difficult to read) Fig. 9: Black background on screen with glossy MP15 (strong glare, even worse than without MP15) Fig. 10: Black background on screen with MP15 matte side (reduced glare, reading without eye strain) Fig. 11: MBP screen at an acute angle without MP15 (screen content is still clearly visible; mostly darkened) Fig. 13: MBP screen at an acute angle l with MP15 matte (screen content is completely blanked out) Fig. 14: MP15 attaches with magnets to the top but not the bottom of the screen, which means that the MP15 has a gap when the screen is at an angle less than 90 degrees to the keyboard and does not prevent the MBP cover from closing . 15: The MP15's ideal size ensures it sits snugly within the slightly raised bezel of the MBP's 15-inch screen. Rice. 16: Small gap when MBP cover is closed with MP15 installed. , but does not interfere with sleep mode.
