Review on Manhasset Acoustic Guitar Bridge Pins (2800) (Pack Of 3) by Charity Johnson

Revainrating 4 out of 5

This is very useful!

As a woodwind player, I have to keep a lot of 'things' (sheets, mouthpiece caps, pencils, sticky notes, music glasses, tampons, notepads, etc.) nearby with a hand during the show. I was sometimes able to use the tool case as a shelf to keep "things" handy, but some of the pits were too crowded to store cases nearby. I've tried looking for shelves that other people have used for their coasters but can't seem to find them online. Then I saw this little gadget. I used it for two long rehearsals over the weekend. He did what he had to do more than adequately. It arrived in two parts - the main compartment and the part that fits over the silver part of the music stand base. I had no problems building it, partly based on the other reviews posted here. It comes with two bolts, two lock washers and two nuts. I couldn't put nuts on bolts with lock washers installed, so I didn't use washers. and it seemed to work fine. The only problem once assembled is that it's inconvenient to carry around. I'll take some wing nuts to assemble it and take it apart when I go to gigs so it's easier to store in my tool box. Lots of space in different compartments. I thought I had lost the baritone saxophone mouthpiece cap, but it was safe and sound in an extremely deep cup holder. I'll also be using a small battery powered flashlight to illuminate it so I can see where everything is - since it's under the music stand's music stand the light doesn't fall on it. . Incidentally, this only works on Manhasset stands and other music stands with a narrower shaft - not on Wenger stands with a thicker shaft. Oh, and I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the awkward shape once assembled - it would be nice if there was another way to attach the piece that slides around the post so it's easier to take off or put away.
