This is aged leather and I can imagine that some of the stitching will likely come undone in the future, but it will be worth paying the tanner to make any repairs needed over time. All of the pockets and spaces have room for pretty much anything you want to pack in them. I recommend getting a quality leather conditioner and using it 2 or 3 times in the first week you buy it. Then, if needed, use something like mink oil after it's broken up. With the application of mink oil, it must be weatherproofed effectively.
