Review on 🧈 Tablecraft Butter Dish: 7.75 x 3.25 x 2.5, Melamine with Lid - Convenient and Stylish by Lori Uniacke

Functional but I'd like to see other color and style options

This is functionally my favorite butter dish I've ever had but aesthetically not my favorite which I will explain later. I wanted plastic instead of ceramic because my kids break ceramics all the time. The plastic is very thick so I believe it will hold up well to the abuse my family will be subjected to (we've had it for about a month now). The size is perfect; I buy Costco buttersticks and they fit great. I also like that it looks more like a flat-topped bowl than a cup-topped tray, because every time you take the lid off it slides down the sides of the butter in a different way and gets rough. With this style, the oil is safely contained within the bowl and the lid never touches it. In my modern kitchen, the look is relatively unremarkable, although I would have liked an option without the words printed on it, but I couldn't find one that I liked, so in my kitchen the words are on the back and the normal side is out. I also wish it was pure white rather than off-white, but again that's my personal preference. In terms of functionality, I'm very happy with it, but in terms of aesthetics, I'd like to see other possibilities. Still deserves 5 stars in my opinion!
