Review on 📷 Optimized Platypod Max: The Flat Tripod Base for Low Angles and Confined Spaces Traditional Tripods Can't Reach by Born Waheed

Shows how simple things can sometimes solve complex problems. Don't get me wrong, this isn't a replacement for a tripod, but it can be acceptable in places where tripods aren't convenient or bulky, where a full tripod isn't needed, and especially in places where tripods are banned ! All this on a relatively small, light and thin aluminum plate that fits perfectly in my camera bag. First, let me mention that I got my PlatyPod Max with the top ball head as a bundle from Revain, so the $99 price doesn't include the head. But I think the combo is worth it. If you've got a head or you're like me then I'm lazy (laughs), I'd rather leave it on a tripod. This is a great option. Now for the function, I can think of so many possibilities and possibilities that could come in handy. Once you mount a camera on it, this thing is solid! You can tilt the camera back and forth to any degree imaginable, and it doesn't even hint at tipping over! You can use it as is on a flat surface using the included (4) screw feet, spiked side down, or rubber side down for surfaces you don't want to damage or slip. If you're on a very uneven surface, you can also use just one, two, three, or all four to give it some stability. When you're done with the legs, you can store them back in the ingenious magnetic holder! Fabulous!
