The description when I read it said it was paper wrapped wires. You are not. They are wrapped in very thin green plastic. This isn't what I was looking for. They don't cut as easily as paper wrapped wires because you have to cut through the plastic and the plastic often stretches a bit so you have to trim the stretched part to keep it looking clean. Aleene's sticky glue seems to be holding up well, at least for the few days I've had her. Not very happy but in the end they worked for my purpose of making crepe paper flowers, I just won't be ordering them again.
