In 2015 I bought two of these, a purple for an elementary school student and a blue for a middle school student. I remember the days I replaced lunch boxes every year. They are worth every penny and I don't have to feel guilty about throwing away the plastic and foam mess at the end of the school year. The seams held. The napkin function comes in handy if you've ever seen how rough dining room tables can be. I almost expected the zipper to rip or the seams to be patched, but that never happened! It's so convenient that you can unzip it and wash it in the laundry. As for the size, which other reviewers seem to have trouble with, they fit a full meal, not for a toddler but for an adult. For the first few days of use, I stuff a 0.6 liter bottle of Sigg in my bag, but now that the kids are exercising regularly (which means they're eating and drinking more), I'm packing a big lunch and snack after school and she carries a large water bottle in the side pocket of the backpack. Lunch is regular: entree, fruit, veg, a bag of fries, a large granola bar or two. It easily holds a 10-ounce thermos or nesting container, plus all of the side dishes and utensils. There is often still space, and even if I want to load it, the fabric stretches. Note that this probably won't fit in something oversized or a large, bulky container, but I've never had a problem packing a complete, healthy, and filling meal. Highly recommended!
