Very light and surprisingly good for the price

Very light and surprisingly good for the price. We bought it for a guest room and ended up exchanging it for ours which was 4-5 times more expensive than this. Definitely recommend for light ironing as the water tank is very small compared to many other brands. So you need to fill it up after 2-3 clothes.

Pros

Cons
  • Long lasting

Great iron for the price!

I come across irons quite often because I have my own business. I'm tired of spending a lot of money on an iron that only lasts my 6 months. So I bought this one and I'm thrilled so far! It's super light. It gets hot fast. I wish it had an auto shut off feature because I just terribly forget to unplug it, but that's my fault! For โ‚ฌ13 I would definitely recommend it.

Simple, cheap and works!

So after paying almost $80 for a big, powerful iron, I decided to return to this Black and Decker. The last one served me for 7 years and just stopped working because I dropped it many times. I've forgotten how nice it is to have a new iron that glides across fabric. My only complaint is that I feel like it's not as hot as my previous one. For the price it's worth it and I iron to work every day.

So easy! Love it.

Still having to get used to turning it on and off (power saving) but it's surprisingly light and works as promised. It only gets a 4 because it takes some time to get used to the "on" light going on and off during use. At first I thought it was a hardware problem. There are no problems with iron, only I have. Now that I know how it works I am completely satisfied and would buy it again.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Weight

Good lightweight steam iron

Very good performance for a lightweight steam iron. Even with steam, it doesn't get hot enough to remove wrinkles from thick cotton or denim. However, it works very well for lighter fabrics. I use it to iron light cotton or cotton blends. I've used it for ironing craft fabrics and fixing creases when hemming shorts. Settings are controlled by a wheel, which is very tight until you use it a few times. It sits in an awkward position just below the handle. It's hard to tell where the dial is setโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • No car

Good general purpose iron

Great iron. I love that you can use it with or without steam and there are so many settings to choose from you can't help but find the perfect one for your job. I used a cotton cloth and a dry iron to iron the edges, seams and headings on 20 curtain panels and 4 valances. It has held up well! It's also very light. It was nice not having to lift as heavy an iron as my old one to do this big job. I'm kinda glad the old one was outdated before I started this work, so I had a better one availableโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Waiting too long
