Review on Stylish Women'S Beachwear: PrinStory Button Down Swimsuit Cover Up With Long Sleeves by Tony Cole

Nice Shirt With Some Drawbacks

I picked this up for my wife, who was hoping to use it as a coverup at the pool and beach. After studying the size chart and reading some other reviews, we decided to order a medium. That seemed like a good decision when she first opened the package and tried the shirt on. It was definitely long enough and blousy enough to meet her requirements.Unfortunately, despite following the instructions to wash on gentle in cold water and hang dry, there was considerable shrinkage after the first wash. This is especially noticeable in the sleeves, but also in the body and overall length. That rendered it useless as a coverup, though my wife says that she still likes it as a shirt. And it does look nice on her for that purpose--after ironing. We were also surprised to find that necklace worn by the model in the pictures is included as a "free gift." Unfortunately, ours arrived broken--which is unsurprising as it is rather cheaply made. Not a big deal, as it wasn't expected and wasn't to her taste anyway.Overall, I'm disappointed that the shirt won't serve its intended purpose, but glad that she'll at least be able to get some use out of it. My advice would be to order one size up if you're hoping to retain a "relaxed" fit after washing.

Pros
  • With its versatile design and stylish cut, this beachwear-cover up seamlessly transitions from a poolside accessory to a casual daytime top, making it a versatile piece that can be worn in a variety of settings, from the beach to the city
Cons
  • The cover up is not adjustable, making it difficult to tailor to individual body shapes and preferences
