These heated grips are AWESOME! After reading a few other reviews here I decided to give it a try and I only wish I had bought it sooner. They're really easy to install, but you have to make sure that one handle is slightly larger than the other so it can slide over the gas tube. Mine had no glue in the box, the throttle side just needed some glue or hairspray to stick, the clutch side shrunk perfectly and tightly with no glue. As many others have said, these things are getting HOT. I use a set of thin leather gloves and ride 45 miles to work on my bike and I have found that I can do it even at 3am when there is no sun and 25 to 50 degrees Fahrenheit and wind speeds up to 15 miles per mile Hour there, never had to set above 3rd level. I had to drive 300+ miles one morning at 40F while upshifting to level 4 at highway speeds, but had to downshift again because it was too hot. The only thing I can note is that these grips are a bit thicker all around. than the handlebars you probably have on your bike, they're still very comfortable. It took me a day or two to get used to this feeling when I reach for a thicker bar. I would recommend them 10/10 to anyone looking to extend their ski season/lessons.
