These are very thin lycra spandex balaclavas, just what I wanted. I wanted to use them as a motorcycle helmet liner and everything else I tried was too thick. For example, I just needed something to keep the helmet liner clean.

I love this product. I use it for mowing. This eliminates the need for paper dust masks. It also protects my ears from dust. I use it with an army stock dust mask worn by soldiers in desert combat. I am very dissatisfied with balaclavas. I wear a modular Bombardi helmet with a mouthguard. So when I use the balaclava, I pull it on just enough to keep my mouth open and block the face mask on the helmet.
