Review on 🏔️ Compact Neon Collapsible Shovel by Yukon Charlie's - Versatile 13" (Stored) and Extendable 24-30" (In Use) by George Scoles

Unlike most reviewers, I bought this specifically to remove sand from the mountain bike trails I ride. I was looking for something that would easily attach to a backpack and stay out of the way. This shovel fits. Despite the cheap construction, it withstood the abuse of scraping sand (and mixed with gravel) off the trail very well. Extending/folding the handle can be confusing, but it works. And yes, sand will get into the handle assembly and make it stick. A good rinse with water will do that. Oh, it doesn't fold down to 13 inches with the handle (more like 17 inches). If you want to shrink to 13 inches, you need to remove the handle completely. Overall I would rate this shovel as good for casual or emergency use. easy on the price ladder.
