Buyer to be careful of defective goods

Two plates cracked on first use when punching. One panel is broken in half and the other is held in place by thin foil on either side. These plates are advertised as strong and durable for stamping, but they are not. The matrices break the thin film and also cause cracks. I've been using the Big Shot vinyl cutter and embosser for 17 years and have never had a Stampin Up or Cuttlebug record crack or break. It's worth spending a little more to get a durable product.
