Not what I thought it was

Bought this for a trip to use as a heating pad for an injury. It kept turning off like it couldn't hold electricity. New machine so there were no problems with the connection, but the plug itself kept disconnecting the small heating pad. In fact there was a power surge on the heating pad and we had to buy a new one. and that was brand new. A bit disappointed but maybe it would work well with less powerful stuff.
