That's solid if you assemble the rubber seals and install them properly. If you get it wrong you could lose your monitor - I almost lost it. When installing the monitor, make sure that you can press the brackets firmly against the rubber bumpers. The arms are flexible for curved/thinner monitors and use that flexibility to keep everything snug. I thought I got it right but the bottom pads weren't tight enough and the monitor popped out when I turned my back after placing the entire assembly on the MountUp mount. Luckily everything was low, near the table, and there were several notebooks to cushion the fall of your hand onto the table. I redid the whole assembly with double washers on top and single washers on bottom to make sure everything was tight. Now everything is stable. If you're stuck with a monitor that needs installation and doesn't have a standard mounting plate with screws, this will work. Use a lighter monitor and make sure everything is tight and tight. Look at something soft like a bed. However, if you have a choice, use a monitor with a standard four-screw mount.
