My 29 inch Asus monitor has a smooth curved back that keeps the armrests away from the back of the monitor and the 'hooks' well away from the armrests. The monitor also had buttons and speakers on the bottom/back HDMI ports where the arms crossed, so I had to pay extra attention to where the bottom "hooks" were. That's solid if you assemble the rubber seals and install them properly. If you get it wrong you could lose your monitor - I almost lost it. When installing the monitor, make sure that you can press the brackets firmly against the rubber bumpers. I really wanted to like this kit. This is probably the best mounting solution if the display manufacturer hasn't bothered to include standard VESA mounting holes in their monitor, but it's definitely a temporary measure at best. I use it to mount a 27" Samsung Curved Monitor. Pros: This allows me to mount the monitor on a desktop stand, so I can take it off my desk and move it around a little more easily.
