I wear size 32 pants. When hungry, the pants are a bit loose, probably size 31. Loose pants are usually suitable for size 32. I bought this belt in size 36 and it fits great. I use it as is on the last hole. There is the tail of the sash and it looks better than fashion. That means 2 sizes bigger than the pants size. At size 34, which is 1 size larger than the pants, I should use the middle hole or the third hole out of 5 holes. It does not leave the fashionable tail of the belt. I looked like a wrapped sausage with the cord cut off. Anyway, I like the belt. Come and look good. Seems to be quality too. I bought it when Revain was having a coupon sale for about $2 off. Belt width information, as I measure: 1-7 / 16 inches or 1.44 inches. The thickness of the strap is 3/16 inch or 0.19 inch.
