I love Columbia products. This strap, purchased on January 26, 2021, broke today, March 22, 2021. Not even three months. This isn't the first time I've ordered one of these straps and broke at the same time. After the first breakdown, I decided to try again. Same problem. The pivot where it attaches to the buckle seems weak. I think I will buy from another manufacturer. Aside from the broken pivot, the Columbia straps work well, wear well, and are an eye-catching accessory.

I wear size 32 pants. When hungry, the pants are a bit loose, probably size 31. Loose pants are usually suitable for size 32. I bought this belt in size 36 and it fits great. I use it as is on the last hole. There is the tail of the sash and it looks better than fashion. That means 2 sizes bigger than the pants size. At size 34, which is 1 size larger than the pants, I should use the middle hole or the third hole out of 5 holes. It does not leave the fashionable tail of the belt. I looked like…

Very nice leather but the clasp where the reversing pin connects the main part of the clasp to the rest of the metal part and the stamped leather strap is an interference fit (they made the pin rough to to hold it better it seems) and with relatively average wear it stretches rendering the belt unusable. I bought it on February 12, 2021 and it is now October 21, 2021.

Overall nice aesthetic, works like a belt, easily moves from side to side. However, over time, the bolts that hold the head of the belt in place wear out. Leather renders the belt unusable. This is a good belt for a few months but with regular use (or intentionally careful use) the leather will deteriorate. I would look elsewhere.

Great everyday belt. The strap itself is very nice and seems to be wearing well, but I've just noticed that there is a scratchy finish on the side that's worn on the inside. The clasp broke after a month. My husband has had other reversible belts from different companies and this is the first time he has had a rip. Now I'm looking for a replacement buckle so it wears down the belt a bit.
