I really do like this set for the value! I use the hive tool at every inspection and haven’t yet been stung through the suit. If your bees can be aggressive I do recommend adding extra leg protection. I have done this simply by wearing an extra pair of pants. I haven’t used the queen crate or feeder. The fan brush is delicate enough not to hurt the bees.

The gloves are the highpoint here. fit beautifully and I know I'll be able to work easily while wearing them. picking up my girst bees next weekend so im hoping the cover will keep the bees from stinging. other items just as shown!

For the price this is a great combination. I really like the top and head net. The bottom has a tight fit and the sleeves are long enough to extend over my gloves so I don't need to always wear my gauntlet gloves. Vision is pretty good too and the up front pocket is handy. The gloves are good quality, have good feel and seal off well. I am 6'3" and 210 pounds and the XL size fit very well. The brush and pry bar are kind of flimsy but work. We don’t know much about actual beekeeping, but this worked perfectly for my husbands Halloween costume! It was easy to get on and off, lightweight, and comfortable. He was actually super excited about the gloves and tools as well.

This runs small, I ordered an extra-large and It's a tight fit on my 5'7" medium frame. Also there are no supports to keep the screen away from your face. I got creative and adapted a plastic tomato plant cage to keep the outer shield away from my face.

This kit was nice to get started with but i am up to 3 hives now so inspection can take a bit and if it is hot outside there is very little ventilation on this suit so it gets almost too hot. So for the price it is a great starter but by next year i am getting me a vented suit! Thanks

Excellent beginner setup. The gloves are super soft yet thick, which makes it easier to hold / grab things. The jacket and veil fit as expected. For the price and things included, I would order this again.

Have not been stung yet after working in hives twice. Good quality, but XL runs a tad small for a XL person like me. Gloves are very good.

I had a in-dwelling ground wasp problem, the gloves, and hood are ok, but the shirt is very thin, you should wear a jack underneath or you will regret it when dealing with wasps. Picture of the fire is my weenie wasp roast. Throw another wasp on the "barbe"

this suit is very tight. but the worse thing it did not come w/ the tools advertised. I received tools I didn't need. I really wanted the tool advertised.IE, j hook not a bottle feeder. I wish ebay would starting vetting these people.

This was used for a Halloween costume and it worked perfectly. As fas as finding if it actually works against stings, I have no idea. It did fit pretty snug on my husband so take that in consideration.

I should have ordered the next size larger. I ordered the "Extra large" it's a bit tight in areas but that's my fault. The cloves were also "Extra large" but fit like a "Large". Once again could be my body is not as small as I hoped it still was. Everything was exactly as described. Awesome value for the money will buy again when I need replacement items.

Great beginning set up for a new beekeeper. The jacket and veil work great, with sturdy bands at the waist and wrists to keep bees from getting in,. The veil itself is sufficient but not the thickest ever, but with proper care, should last at least a few years. The gloves are very good as well, and so is the hive tool. I received it but it was missing parts. The package was missing 1 Bee feeder +1 Queen cage. It was not as its description. I am so disappointed. How can this happen?

Easy on and off. Not too hot. A little thin for aggressive bees. Fortunately, my bees are not aggressive. That's my review.

I haven’t used the suit yet but I did try it on. It fits just like my old one. The other products are all in good working condition as advertised.

Product is very well made. Got an extra large so my husband and I can both wear it. The elastic around the sleeves and bottom makes it a perfect fit for whoever is monitoring the bees that day.
