The hand finally rested. Like many, all my work is on the computer, that is, the main working tools are the keyboard and mouse. I used a regular 100-ruble OEM mouse for almost half a year, and my wrist began to fail. First, a slight whining, then the right hand began to numb at all after five minutes of work. For a week I tied my arm with an elastic bandage, then I decided - I bought a trackball. It was unusual for about a month. I chose the following layout for scrolling: the left additional key is the middle button, the right one is the universal scroll. In browsers, I open new tabs with the middle key, scroll is assigned to it in browsers - quite convenient. That is, Im used to the lack of a wheel. Where it is impossible to turn the middle button, I try the universal scroll. If it doesn’t work, I aim and press the scroll in the window. I’ll add that the trackball doesn’t seem like an incredible accuracy to me as a manipulator - rather, everything is the same. If you need to spin quickly - there is a slight inertia of the ball. If you need to slowly - slow down the rotation with your finger. That is, I didn’t reach a new level of convenience or speed in Vegas and Photoshop - I just got used to it and do everything the same as with the mouse. But the hand does not get tired, and this is a huge plus.
