Firstly it has real potential. The design is great for the mount itself, sits solid and great. Very easy to install. Now for the bad (or at least annoying ones): the 17mm ball mount part is flimsy. As. Very thin. I installed it firmly in the dashboard with the Qi holder. When I'm driving straight on the freeway, my phone jumps all over the place. This is entirely due to the use of plastic, and all of your phone's weight is supported by a single, unreinforced 90° corner (allowing for a ton of flex, thus turning your phone into a dummy at the slightest bump). This problem is easily solved by adding a piece of plastic at a 45° angle to make it stiffer, or by using metal for that important detail. As a result, I'm replacing this piece with the one I'm printing on a 3D printer with supports. However, I didn't have to do that - despite the overall solid construction of the mount, the RR clearly stopped short of the finish line by paying minimal attention to the mount's retaining element.
