Perfect fit for my '09 Chevy 2500 HD with ATC (Automatic Temperature Control)

Cabin air filter retrofit kit requires cutting a slot in the under dash air box. A cabin air filter is now standard, but unfortunately Chevy didn't install one until later model years. It's positioned as an air quality feature, but more importantly, it protects and prevents clogging of the airbox, evaporator coil, heater core, and air ducts, which will cause serious maintenance issues later. This kit contains everything you need (except the DIY LAB). for installation, including excellent picture instructions. The package contains a filter, a cap to close the filter opening and a fixing screw. After that, only change the case filter once a year. Installation time: several hours. Cutting a slot in the airbox under the dash is quite a chore and I recommend you take the opportunity to clean out any debris that has built up in the airbox over the years but if you plan on using your truck for any length of time It's worth letting time stand.
