When I first got this I confess I was happy with it and used it to write down anything that struck me as interesting. The portability factor and the simple fact that it's so easy to use and download videos to your computer is what initially drew me to purchase this product. But first, my biggest concern was that it didn't have decent stabilization. And I understand that for something of this size and price it doesn't go, but honestly the video quality I get from my Leica C-LUX 3 digital camera or Canon P&S digital camera (which shoots HD) will be much better, trust me one . You get this largely because you need something other than your point and shoot that captures video and that you can quickly upload to your computer and/or the web. Me and I'm sure others will realize that you don't really need such a thing, you just want it because I'm sure most people like me who buy it already have a digital camera that can record video. Less than 2 years after I bought it, it stopped working. I press the button to turn it on but nothing happens, I open the USB and plug it into my laptop but the icon doesn't say anything connected. It was a waste of money and I honestly wouldn't recommend this particular model to anyone - not sure if the newer versions work better but please stay away from this one. Ultimately, if I could offer any advice, I'd just use your digital camera's point-and-shoot video capability (assuming your P&S shoots HD) instead of buying yourself a flip video - it'll just be better for you . in all aspects.
