Little girls often wear skirts with shorts underneath so they can climb, hang and spin bikes without showing their underwear. I wanted the same! So I started looking for knee length leggings to wear under knee length skirts, giving me the look of a skirt with the comfort and freedom of movement of leggings. too long or too thin (like the underwear itself). I ordered them as the best choice despite the relatively few reviews. i have royal blue I love her! They hit me right in the knee, and since most of my skirts opened just below the knee, they don't show unless I'm moving. They're as comfortable as leggings and flattering on their own, although they're a bit tighter than I'd wear to the grocery store, for example, without anything over the top. They're not very warm either. I go to the playground or walk my children and I don't have to be careful not to show too much when I play with them. They fit my purpose perfectly. The color is a lot lighter than I expected but it didn't bleed in the wash so I'm happy with that. I'll wait another month and if it holds up as I expected then I'm determined to buy another pair in different colors. Update: It washed up well so I bought a second color. Second update: It's been almost a year and one of the pairs has holes in the inseam where my thighs are getting chafed. No wonder, because the fabric is very thin. I like them so much I will be buying a replacement but be aware this will happen.
