Great makeshift cage! - Houses and habitats

This cage suits me perfectly. I have three house mice that live together in a large aquarium. However, one of them caught some kind of conjunctivitis and I didn't want the other two to catch that from her. I bought this cage for one of my mice for a 2 week treatment. This cage was easy to assemble and has everything you need. Wheel, food bowl and water bottle. Just add bedding, food, treats, gummy bears and hideouts! I also like the extra game compartment at the top. I put her treats in so she has to go upstairs to get them! While I love this cage as a temporary home for my ailing pet I would not recommend this cage as a permanent home unless you already have lots of hoses and other items. cage additions. Even the fine print of the product tells you that these cages are for supplements and they say it in the fine print so they have no problem selling you a cage that small. No vet or animal expert can recommend a cage this size. My pets are mice, so as small as possible! Even for my only mouse, this cage is too small. Small animals like mice, hamsters and gerbils need LOTS of space to run, climb and dig. Just because you can physically put a gerbil in that cage doesn't mean there's enough room for a pet. Wheels aren't enough - they need open ground to get closer! This cage is great for: • temporarily housing a sick pet or clearing out the main cage • adding extra space to other cages, tubes and compartments to give your pet the space they need. This cage is NOT suitable for: • keeping small pets for long periods of time without *essential* additions. You are not a bad host! Either upgrade to a larger cage (look for trash can cages - they're very cheap to make and have enough space for your pet) or buy more cages and tubes to add to this one. Honestly, making your own would be cheaper than adding one, but if you're buying this cage you're going to need to at least double or even triple the space it offers as is.
