Cable quality feels nice -- not yet tested for durability over time as it's not real equals me and back. Samsung DEX Dock: D- Connect Clean - OK HDMI Pass Through - OK Ethernet Pass Through - FAIL USB Device Pass Through: FAIL with my Microsoft Wireless Keyboard/Mouse. compared to a direct connection. The ONLY reason I bought this cable was to connect to the DEX without unboxing the Note 8. I have both USB devices and GigE connections in my DEX. Unfortunately, only HDMI and power work. I haven't tested any other UBS devices other than the mouse/keyboard, which didn't work either. If you don't need it, this cable can be suitable for your use. But obviously I didn't succeed. If you're looking for a DEX compatible cable, either mine is defective or it's not the right one. I'll see what the seller has to say and update this review accordingly, this is indeed a defect.
