I bought this to clean our pool steps and keep it outside by the pool. There was no rain or moisture outside, but the end of the rod that screws into the brush rusted almost immediately. Rust mixed with water, next time I used it, rusty water seeped out everywhere. I don't know if it was an accident. But it was very disappointing and we had to throw the pole away. I cleaned the brush and now use it in the shower. Damn. Also note the length of the pole - it was too short to reach the bottom step. But it was my fault for the misjudgment.
