IT WORKS - READ THIS FOR 5 TIPS FOR SUCCESS!

It works and I have some tips to maximize your weight loss potential, also ignore reviews that say it tastes disgusting, it doesn't if you do it right! I lost 16 pounds in two weeks with Almased. I fasted for 14 days. I wasn't hungry and there are a few secrets to success and here they are: 1. In the first 3 days your metabolism needs to adjust to the lower calories so drink as many shakes as you need on those crucial days. On the first day I needed 5 shakes, on the second day I needed four shakes and on the third day I needed three shakes a day. Almased's instructions state that more than three shakes can be taken in the first few days. You can't expect your body to adjust from 2000 calories or more to 500 calories overnight. Make no mistake, this isn't a magic shake. You lose weight because you're consuming far fewer calories. Hence my advice: Drink the shake as often as you need for the first 3 days. For some people it may be every four hours, for others maybe every two hours. To be successful at this, you MUST allow your body to gradually adapt. That's why people fail the first three days, saying they're too hungry and can't handle 3 shakes a day. Listen to your body and have a smoothie when you get hungry. Don't try to ignore your hunger pangs. 2. Flavor – I used lots of cinnamon, 1 packet of stevia, and silk vanilla almond milk, which is 30 calories and 0 carbs. It was delicious. But I will say that I made 5-6 balls so that the taste is to my liking. Anything more and the flavor will become too concentrated. Therefore, you may need to use fewer scoops if the flavor is too strong or too concentrated. Drink immediately. If you let the drink steep, it will thicken and become difficult to dissolve. It is important to drink immediately after preparation and is best prepared in a smoothie blender or regular blender for a smooth consistency. Oil. Almased's instructions say to use 1 teaspoon of olive oil. However, coconut oil burns more fat than olive oil (and tastes a lot better), and you can google clinical studies to back it up. I recommend purchasing coconut oil and using 1 teaspoon of coconut oil with each shake, it tastes amazing and accelerates weight loss more than olive oil. I always recommend using liquid coconut oil. If you use regular coconut oil, it will solidify in the cocktail and have an odd taste and texture. I use Nature's Way Always Liquid.5 coconut oil. Vitamin D - I highly recommend taking vitamin D3. First, it suppresses appetite, and you can find evidence of this in online clinical trials. Vitamin D also encourages the body to switch to fat burning mode rather than fat storage mode. If you're overweight or gain weight easily, your body is in fat storage mode, so getting enough vitamin D is important. 5,000 to 10,000 IU per day is helpful for short-term weight loss and other benefits. Don't take my word for it, you can find research on Google by searching "weight loss and vitamin D" as well as "obesity and vitamin D" and "vitamin D and appetite suppressants". Studies show that vitamin D levels at the beginning of a low-calorie diet predict successful weight loss. Just do a google search as Revain doesn't allow us to post links. Of course, before taking any dietary supplement, you should do your research and discuss this with your doctor. The price is quite expensive. Vitacost sells Almased for $19.99 per can. I recommend finding Almased on sale! UPDATE It has been three years since I wrote this review and Almased is still a mainstay in my diet. Whenever my weight creeps back, I turn on Almased shakes. I haven't fully fasted since hitting my goal weight, but I do two shakes and one healthy dinner (similar to the Slim Fast plan). I don't have any new tips, I'm doing the same. Sometimes I just have a cocktail when I'm very busy and don't have time to cook. It's better than a protein bar (they're loaded with sugar). As for coconut oil, 1 teaspoon only contains 33 calories (2 tablespoons – 200 calories), so don't worry about coconut oil calories. Use 1 teaspoon per shake. If you drink 3 shakes a day, that's less than 100 calories. Remember that 1 tablespoon contains 3 teaspoons. You need this healthy fat, and it really helps you lose weight. I've tried it with and without coconut oil and I lose more weight with coconut oil.
