I read and ignored the previous review and bought this bookshelf anyway. What can I say? It fit in her room! My experience was flawless. It took a little while to ship, but I was able to assemble it without any problems. I'm a single mom, I don't have a power tool and I have acrylic nails that weren't damaged during assembly. All that was needed was an Allen key which is included in the kit. It requires some arm strength, so I imagine it will be difficult to assemble if you have arm problems. But it was clear, concise and well put together. It also holds some books! The only "complaint" I might have is that it's not as big as I imagined. But it's my own fault for not even looking at the measurements. Luckily this is the perfect size for my daughter's room!
