mmm Why are they speaking in a different language now?

I've been using them for a few weeks and for $13 they're fine. My only complaint was that the volume wasn't low enough for me. Then today the headphones started giving instructions in what I believe to be Chinese. They gave me instructions in English so I'm not sure what happened. Since I don't know what the crash is and why it started so suddenly, I think I'll send them back.
