I made a mistake and left my key in the car and closed the door while I connected to the compressor. Usually when you do this you can touch the handle and it will open. But the machine didn't recognize that the key was in it. Thank goodness I had a phone and unlocked the car with the Tesla app. Several times the car won't start because I get the "Key not in" error message. Then I have to wave it in the car until it is recognized.
