If you are looking for thin wool socks, Tundra Wolf is definitely worth a look. They are well made and contain 80% wool, which is more than most wool socks at this price point. It is a good choice for skiing, hiking and putting on socks. While the company also advertises them as hiking socks, I wouldn't recommend them for that unless you're using multiple layers; You're too skinny to hike. These socks are suitable for year-round use. Wool keeps your feet warm in cold weather and dry in hot weather. The elastic is of good quality and should fit even the thickest of calves and even shin guards. As a person with thick calves, I appreciate real knee socks that are comfortable. While the company says you can machine wash these socks, I recommend using a gentle cycle and hanging to dry. For the person who owns multiple pairs of Darn Tough wool socks, this is the easiest way to use wool while maintaining durability. While I don't expect these pairs to last as long as DTS socks (so thin that stepping on a rough object can easily puncture holes), I'm happy with the quality. Socks with a high proportion of wool are expensive but well made.
