Pros: 1 - Price, price, price. Great price for a decent tablet. 2 - It runs on pretty standard Android (albeit an outdated version). Size 3. If you're looking for a small tablet that's easy to hold, this is a great option. Incredibly thin and light (yet solid construction). It's overall thinner and smaller than the Kindle Fire 7". 4 - SD card slot for additional storage (for photos and media, not necessarily apps {more on that later}). 5 - Battery. Enough for that Cons: 1 - only 8 GB Storage 8GB isn't enough to install apps that average users need, an SD card would be a great way to deal with that, but most apps can't be installed on an external drive, and those that only allow you to small parts of the application can be transferred to the SD card I really didn't know this was happening because I'm used to using devices with enough memory 2 - Android 5 (Lollipop) This device is running an outdated version of Android, and Samsung Doesn't seem planning to update it, which is unfortunate because Marshmallow was already available when it came out and is therefore immediately obsolete, one of the reasons it's a big deal because then newer ones allow it Versions of Android allow merging internal storage with SD cards (this may be a way around the problem of installing applications on SD card.) If other features of Android M, N or O intrigued you, it is Safe to say you shouldn't wait for the Samsung update. 3 - The touch screen is not very responsive. I don't know if this is a common problem, but sometimes my touchscreen is unresponsive. I notice this the most when I enter my PIN code on the lock screen. It doesn't always click the numbers (although sometimes there's even tactile feedback). 4 - Lots of Samsung viruses. As the storage is top notch, it sucks to uninstall apps that are useless5 - No fingerprint sensor. Before you yell at me that this is a budget device, I want to say that I use the Moto E4 as a mobile device and I bought it for less than $100. This motor device has a very accurate. So I don't think this technology is more limited to flagship and mid-range devices. Overall: Great price, decent screen resolution, and decent battery life. Comes with some concessions but at a great price that makes it workable. This is probably more of a 4 star rating and if Samsung ever updates the OS it will easily be 4, maybe even 5 stars, but nothing on the Samsung forums suggests that will be the case.
