Minor 8 GB of memory stuck on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop

Only 8 GB of internal memory, which in my case is only enough for 35 applications (92% full and already having problems updating). Forget about saving pictures or music. There is no place! Samsung also prevents the removal of its "branded" apps like Samsung Kids, which simply take up more space in a tight space. Samsung has stopped OS updates for this device so it's stuck at Android 5.1.1 (Lollipop) which is behind versions now! It does have an SD card slot, but you can't use SD up to Androidโ€ฆ

Small size (Cheers) But little space (Boo)

Can't complain for the price. It does the job well enough, but the limited internal storage is a major drawback no matter how much you stuff into the SD card slot. You can tell it to move or install apps to the SD card, but only a fraction of the data goes there, and about half of that stays on the internal storage. I ran out of storage several times and only had a few apps installed. Basically, you can't install games if you need other apps on the device, and a number of free apps thatโ€ฆ

Fantastic tablet for the price

I am a student who has various tablets and a laptop for school use. This tablet has been at the top of my list for a long time. Every time this tablet went on sale, a part of me wanted to order it. Samsung tablets were the top selling tablets for what I wanted and compared to other tablets the price was reasonable. It's time to stop draining my phone's battery (reading books) and fight my sluggish Kindle Fire. The tablet comes with little malware compared to some tablets from otherโ€ฆ

Not impressed with computers and tablets

Just one day. He's tiny! You can also not use a SIM card. So no car goes with her. WiFi only. Data. Really Amazon/Samsung? No, where it is advertised that almost all data can be used. So we need an SD card. However, YOU should not advertise 8GB and use most of it without telling customers. We can trade without a SIM card. And use it at home for YouTube and such, but it's not easy to use. We have to keep tapping the screen to make it do something (not difficult). In general. Good price, size isโ€ฆ

Poor bluetooth, storage quality

I had to return this tablet as soon as I opened it. This is a good tablet, very good response and touchscreen. The size is big, wifi is so-so. The battery life is really good. Depending on what you are doing, this will take around 5-6 hours. What attracted me was the ability to add more storage. I was so wrong As you can see from the photos. I have almost 60 GB of free space, but the tablet does not allow you to put applications on the SD card, only favorites, or get rid of malware that isโ€ฆ

Keep an eye on storage.

We bought two of these for the kids about 6 months ago. They have held up well so far. My retention requirements. We've had Samsung products for years and we're aware of the malware that always accompanies them. So we bought 32GB cards as well, thinking that would be more than enough for kids apps and random pictures. The extra memory is almost never used (about 5GB out of 32), but we get "out of memory" errors at least 2-3 times a month. The tablet advertises 8GB of storage, but almost half of

Great price for a decent tablet

Pros: 1 - Price, price, price. Great price for a decent tablet. 2 - It runs on pretty standard Android (albeit an outdated version). Size 3. If you're looking for a small tablet that's easy to hold, this is a great option. Incredibly thin and light (yet solid construction). It's overall thinner and smaller than the Kindle Fire 7". 4 - SD card slot for additional storage (for photos and media, not necessarily apps {more on that later}). 5 - Battery. Enough for that Cons: 1 - only 8 GB Storageโ€ฆ

Let's be honest. How much can you expect from such a cheap tablet? Answer: more than 3.5 months. It just doesn't load anymore. Tried multiple chargers on multiple outlets. I don't know if it's the battery in the device or the charging port. And it really doesn't matter. The battery is not meant to be removed/replaced and on such a cheap device it's not worth replacing. I'm not sure about the warranty but I don't care. I bet Samsung went for such a cheap device. I felt like I was in troubleโ€ฆ

You won't get marshmallows

I bought this tablet in late 2016. I was under the impression that it was going to get a new Android Marshmallow update due out in a few months. Well, Marshmallow has come and gone and my tablet has never received an update. I contacted Samsung and Google. None of them could tell me if they would ever come. So now I'm stuck with an 8GB tablet that's already used up about 7GB due to preinstalled stuff you can't get rid of. I have an SD card. However, since the operating system is still aโ€ฆ
