when an electronics didn't work I usually didn't leave a review and attributed it to a bad prank. No, this thing glowed green and never went white until I grabbed the power cord that carries power from the wall to the wide Kinect box. After abusively moving the cord, I was able to get the device to go white for about 1-2 seconds and then go back to green. There is a video of someone fixing it by moving the barrel's power cord, but as far as I can tell, that's not where my problem originated. Using such a power cord does not seem safe. I'm hoping to get this replacement and it just works, but any electronics that have chronic power cable problems seem to be very, very patchy.
