Well apart from getting a different product than what I ordered I have to say the product works pretty well. I ordered the colored version and got the clear thread - but at least it's a great length and stays completely on my glasses even if I accidentally bang my hand on the glasses - they stay connected. This works well with glasses that have a small side bridge and a large part over the ear as this prevents the connected part from slipping off the glasses. My wife tried on her glasses without the metal side panel and if she banged the glasses on anything, the connector would slide down the side panel and fall off. If you have the right glasses, this works great. If not, you need to be more careful, but the length is still long, so be careful and you will get a reliable product.
