available Update: March 29, 2021 I contacted support and they responded very quickly. Asked me to provide a video of the problem and then immediately sent a replacement US plug. This fixed the hum problem and proved they really care about their customers. Anything that is produced can have problems, but good service proves itself when they really are a problem. Original review below. Added bonus: I use this as a handy paper lantern video and it shows no flicker at several different ISOs and shutter speeds. I wanted to love it and I loved my govee stripes. Bought to have in a paper lantern to have on video. It doesn't flicker and has a higher frame rate or ISO, which is good, but the connector produces a very loud, constant buzz that your mic picks up. Also very picky about power. I tried 5 different outlets and they all had a hum. The 3 14-18 gauge outdoor and shielded extensions (the only one that was plugged in) had the same issue, but when hooked up individually to the indoor extension it wouldn't turn on while all the other smart lights would turn on, if they tried. Contact support to see if the new US plug fixes this. If it doesn't come back I can't even use it in the bedroom because it's too loud and annoying to read next to it.
