I have decided to assemble my own swing set for my 4 year old with autism using the 123 easy oriental jungle gym brackets I have also bought from Revain. It turned out very well! I already had a platform swing with some zip ties that I used on a tree in our old house, but for this project I bought a new half bucket swing and needed the hardware to hang it, so I bought this kit. It is great! I LOVE that it has EVERYTHING you need to hang your swing including wonderfully detailed instructions and the right size drill bit so there's no guesswork or buying one! Plus, the hangers themselves are about as heavy as you can hope for. My 220 lb husband hung/swinged on chains before we attached the swing just to make sure it was stable and not moving an iota! We attached them to a 10' 4x6 cross member that was pressure treated. Perhaps the only thing I don't really like about it is the rotating trailers. The ones I have are a bit noisy. Maybe they just need to be lubricated with WD40, but I would prefer the hangers to be static only and have no moving parts. I feel this creates unnecessary extra friction. That being said, the swing I hung from swings smoothly, it's VERY solid and secure, and my son loves it (and swings A LOT)!
