Review on 💡 Smart Momentary Switch with WiFi Relay by Tom Lantz

I hooked up a 24vdc power adapter to this thing, downloaded the WeLink app on iOS and was able to start within 5 minutes relaying from the cloud and mine to turn on Alexa. I don't quite understand why the WeLink app needs access to your phone's location (GPS). I think you could set up your account and device somewhere other than home if you were very concerned that this is a privacy issue. Inching mode is great for triggering a momentary switch press. Being able to set it in 500ms increments also seems very handy. I have tested this and it works without issue when running the Craftsman garage door opener in my home. Using these instead of buying a garage keypad or additional programmable wireless remotes would be the most cost effective. However, if your Wi-Fi or Internet is unstable or there is the thought of someone snooping on your account and opening your garage remotely, be very scared. maybe it's not a good solution for that.
