It's pretty handy and will definitely become a topic of conversation when you have friends.
I got this as a gift for my wife and she loves it. She often stole my wrist rest and it made me grumpy because I got so used to it that my wrist started to hurt when I played or worked on the computer. So I got this for her and she loves it. Granted, I use it more than they do. It's pretty handy and definitely a talking point when friends are over.
