this thing is useless for anything other than a lamp. Come on GE, the outlets are so close together you can't plug anything in there but a lamp or an old VCR. Now everything has big plastic plugs. I can't even connect 2 phone chargers together. I bought this because the sockets point in the right direction to plug in modern plastic plugs. All other brands have rotated them 90 degrees so you still can't plug in modern plastic plugs, but at least they're further apart and will work if you rotate the sockets 90 degrees.
