Since discovering BoxLunch at the mall I've been collecting more enamel pins lately and now I'm also looking online for enamel pins and have decided to look for lockable backs so I don't lose them or anyone keep one rip of my pins away from me while they are in my backpack/purse. They are pretty easy to put on and I'm glad I have them! My technique for hard-to-reach installs is to turn the screw in just enough to win. To prevent falling, insert a small pin and hold until it's tight enough to let go. I had a hard time putting the pad in when I put mine in my pocket so I barely had space or view to put the pad in haha.
