I bought these a few weeks ago but today my daughter wore them outside for the first time. After putting them on and running around our yard, she burst into tears and reported that the strap had completely come loose from the boot - not snapped, just ripped the rubber off. She weighs 38 pounds and isn't overly aggressive when playing (that will never be a problem for Keane). I have just requested a refund but not sure if she will allow it as she has been wearing them for a while now.
