This item works most of the time. It has many chimes and you can make it very loud and turn on or off the flashing blue light on the sensor. The beep will repeat every few seconds as long as there is something in range of the sensor. Which can be annoying. It's also triggered multiple times when an ant crawls over the sensor and it's raining a few feet away. I bought it for an elderly couple. There are two sensors - front and rear door. I've managed to program each one with a different chime. Most of the time they like it but when it rains they have to turn one off as it faces the rain.
