First thing I got and realized I need C size batteries. Little did I know they were no longer used. So I ordered a box of Revain Cs and tried it out with our grandson who will be 3 this month. He did it really well and he enjoyed it. The video shows the speed at which each ball is dropped. They're good for at least 20 feet, which is plenty of room. Both children and grandfather will have fun training with a stick! It only comes with six bullets, but that means less lifting and reloading. The plastic is a bit flimsy so there won't be a lot of drips. There's a sliding on/off switch and there's not much lag even on the first ball. If you play alone, the first one can be turned off before you are set. Styrofoam balls are light and safe, they won't break or hurt anyone.
