These shorts fit very well. They sit on me but not tight, which I like a lot. I love the material and how stretchy they are. I bought these to wear as casual shorts, not for working out, so they work great for that purpose! I wear them all day, I run and they are very comfortable. They don't look thin to me at all, they don't show through when you bend over. The high waist suits me very well. It falls just below my bust, so I fold it around the button. These are not compression shorts and they do not tightly control the stomach. They are way more comfortable than the compression shorts I was looking for. If you're looking for serious compression biker shorts that will keep your legs moving while you ride, this isn't for you. Looking for super comfy shorts that you can wear all day and then hit the gym and just swim then this is for you
